Smore Rookie

Very fun 70's chalet theme dinner party ended with smore making in the fireplace.  I'm ashamed to say that the lack of camping trips has made me a smore virgin.  Obviously I know what a smore is and have even been tempted to order it at The Farm of Beverly Hills because they bring out a little fire.  I was told that black marshmallows were an acquired taste but I don't think they were supposed to be black at all.

Massage Chair

I wish I knew html.  Never cared to learn it but now that I'm trying out this blogging thing it seems like it would be a big help.  Also can html help me move pictures where I want?

Anyway, this is a massage chair that strapped the massagee down to the chair.  Kind of scary minus the good vibrations.  For some reason we spent quite some time at sharper image while "malling."  Seeing that I'm not a 50 year old man, not sure why we went in there in the first place.

CVS Candy Aisle.. in Mexico???

Have been miserable with viral cold. Yuck, yuck, yuck.  Could've been from snowboarding this weekend but I think the only thing that got hurt was my ego and my tailbone and probably got the virus from random people.  Popped over to the local CVS to get some mucinex (which they were out of), kleenex with lotion (for my sensitive nose) and cough drops (so I can stop taking a friend's expired cough medication that makes me shake like an alcoholic.)  Walked down the candy aisle and found a whole section of dedicated to Mexican candy. Foreign packaging makes me smile... sometimes laugh...

I know it's supposed to be tamarind but I wonder if
those not familiar with it might think it was a poo-pop.

Also discovered Puffs with lotion AND Vicks!  Lovely for colds.

Marc Sale

Woke up very early on a Sunday morning after a late night of doing nothing in particular to shop the Marc Jacobs 90% off sale.
Was disappointed by the following: it was only shoes (but got over that quickly as who doesn't love shoes), store was s'posed to open at 11 but opened at 12, smoked a cig while waiting when today was meant to be a total no-smoke day, selection of chausseres fabuleuses were tres peu (or amount of shoes in general), no more women's rain boots and I didn't get to make out with the Blake Fielder-Civil doppelganger that worked at the store.
Ok, I think the real Blake looks uber dirty and that I would probably become addicted to whatever drugs he takes just by being in his vicinity but that guy was cute.
The positive things are that an adorable sailor dress made me feel like I saw art and the lack of rain boots made me realize I liked the Tretorn's Sperry Vinter more.
Also wanted to post a picture of Sunset & Alvarado.  That is not a mountain but angry, L.A. rain clouds.

Hapi Hapi

There are many languages I wish I were fluent in but picking up the new and free issues of Hapi Hapi at Daikokuya in Tokyotown makes me really sad that I can't read Japanese...  I do know to flip through it from left to right...

Are these children for sale?
